I had the most amazing Spiritual Experience on Sept 18th. That day is significant on the Hebrew calendar because it is the High Holy Day of the year. It is thought that after this day of prayer and repentance God writes in the book of life the plans He has for us for the next year. As we draw near we can hear those plans. I have been going through a season of seeking Spirit for the next move on my own life so the intensity of listening has been heightened by my own desire to go deeper in my own understanding of Creators move in my life. During the night, though I am not sure it was a dream or a vision. i was summoned to a place on top of a mountain. I was there for some time as my senses acclimated to the movement going on around me. The mountain was high and as far as I could see it was quiet with little movement. I saw Israel and yet could see far in to the far reaches of the whole earth. I felt as though I was under a covering of some sort and yet could see all of the earth from my point of view on the mountain. As my senses began to acclimate to the situation around me I realized the land was silent. Silent as though it had just taken a breathe in anticipation for something. The quietness startled me. I heard a voice tell me the explanation. It was as though the whole earth was in waiting. Waiting for the great move of God’s Presence. As the silence was intensifying I felt myself coming into alignment with the Holy hush. I could feel my spirit fall back into a rest for a moment. It was as though I was being overshadowed by the Almighty God . I cannot say that I saw Him move and yet I did in some way see. When He moved ever so slowly I was filled with the greatest terror I have ever experienced. I have felt terror of dark things but this was different. it was as though I had seen God ever so little and the greatness of Him had caused me to see the minutness of me. I was in Great Awe of Him! Remember standing at the ocean for the first time? Gazing at the dark starry night. The realization of His greatness was overwhelming and I was undone. As i was experiencing this I saw that all the earth was coming into unison with Almighty’s movement. Fire balls were being thrown from the heavens. As they would hit earth an explosion of God’s Presence would manifest all around the world. One of those fireballs hit me and I was immediately awakened in my bed. I was still physically shaking when I awoke. One of the Seven Spirits of God is the Fear of God. I have never experienced such great Fear of God and yet such love from and to Him in my life. I layed there in my bed for some time listening because I have been aware that any time I experience an encounter with Creator I come away changed. For a length of time I have greater insight and understanding. That is why I did not want to leave the moment without pondering all that He was allowing me to see. I was drawn to a verse in the bible that depicts exactly what I was seeing. It is Romans 8: 19. It says that creation is waiting in anticipation for the revealing of the sons of God. His was the Revealing of the Son of God. We are to point the people to Jesus. Our purpose and calling is to come into alignment with what Almighty is doing and that is to point everyone to Jesus!
